This course teaches a complete workflow for creating stylized materials and textures using Blender's texture paint mode and shader editor. The curriculum spans four main projects, starting with fundamentals and progressing through diorama props to complex character texturing.
Students learn techniques for hand-painted texturing, procedural color blocking, and combining procedural node setups with stencil projections. The projects cover various material types including organic surfaces, fabrics, metals, and wood. While the texturing work is done entirely within Blender, the course also incorporates Marmoset Toolbag into the pipeline for baking base maps, lighting, and rendering final presentations.
