This course focuses on translating 2D paintings and illustrations into 3D scenes using Blender. The curriculum centers on Blender's texture paint mode, teaching students how to hand-paint 3D meshes to achieve stylized and painterly textures suitable for both standalone artwork and game assets.

Over the course of 23 narrated lessons, students will learn efficient modeling techniques, UV mapping strategies, and shader editor workflows for generating stylistic edgework. The instruction also covers custom brush creation and compositing techniques to enhance the final painterly aesthetic. The course includes two primary project workouts based on reference art, alongside project files and a custom illustrative brush.
