This mini-course demonstrates the workflow for creating a stylized, hand-painted game asset from start to finish. The curriculum covers modeling and UV unwrapping in Blender, emphasizing the importance of shading for stylized graphics and techniques for creating seamless UV layouts.

Students then transition to 3DCoat to bake ambient occlusion and hand-paint lighting, shadows, and materials. The course concludes by returning to Blender to set up a render scene, exploring Unlit, EEVEE, and Cycles rendering. The final section focuses on producing a turntable animation and final renders for portfolio presentation. Included files consist of a final Blender scene and a layered 3DCoat project.
