This 27-hour course focuses on creating a modular medieval dungeon game environment. The curriculum covers modeling, texturing, and finalizing a 90-piece kitbash set in Blender, followed by optimizing the pieces for real-time game engines.
The course includes an extensive section on exporting the completed assets into Unreal Engine 5 to set up lighting, collisions, interactive doors, and Niagara fire particle systems. The structure allows students to either complete the project entirely within Blender or follow the extended pipeline into Unreal. Included learning materials feature reference images, a dungeon floor plan, custom cliff brushes, an HDRI, and texture maps formatted for both Blender and Unreal Engine workflows.
