Rigging Isn't Scary

This video course provides a structured introduction to manual character rigging in Blender, divided into three progressive levels. Level 1 covers the absolute basics, including armature creation, core constraints, introductory weight painting, and creating a simple walk cycle.

Level 2 builds on these foundations by introducing anatomical bone placement, bone roll, custom bone shapes, and specific mechanisms for wrists, shoulders, hips, and feet. It also covers automatic weights and methods for improving deformation in key areas. Level 3 advances into professional techniques, teaching IK-FK switching, limb isolation, complex spine setups, drivers, custom properties, and shape key-based facial rigging.
