Philogix PBR Painter is a texturing addon that brings a layer-based painting workflow directly into Blender. It is designed to emulate the functionality of dedicated texturing software, allowing artists to create complex materials without exporting models to external applications. The tool supports both Metallic/Roughness and Specular/Glossiness PBR workflows.

The addon features a comprehensive two-tier layer system managing both material layers and individual channel layers. Users can utilize smart surface layers, image layers, and anchor points to build non-destructive textures. Additionally, it includes an integrated baking toolset capable of generating Normal, ID, Ambient Occlusion, and Curvature maps directly from the mesh to drive smart materials and procedural wear effects.
