Tx Layer

Tx Layer brings a familiar layer-structured workflow to Blender's native texture painting functionality. When users create or reorder layers in the interface, the add-on automatically generates and connects the corresponding node groups within the shader editor. It supports multi-channel texturing, allowing simultaneous painting on color, metallic, roughness, height, and normal properties to create realistic PBR materials.

The toolset includes standard non-destructive operations like blend modes, opacity sliders, clipping masks, and layer locking. Users can work with various layer types, including procedural, adjustment, fill, mask, and vertex color layers, all organized into classification folders. The add-on also provides utility functions for baking layers down to flat textures, exporting raw data per layer, and isolating specific channels during the painting process.
