Leafig is an add-on that generates 3D polygons directly from input images. The mesh generation process relies on image data such as alpha transparency, hue, or color distance to determine the shape. It automates several steps, including initial material creation and UV mapping.

When processing an image that contains multiple isolated elements, the tool can automatically separate them into individual objects and assign their origin points. It also offers the ability to create a border inset with a separate material, which assists in handling edge transparency.
