ImageMesher

ImageMesher is a utility that automates the conversion of 2D images into textured 3D meshes by running Blender in the background. Instead of producing flat planes with masked transparent areas, the software traces the image's alpha channel to construct exact boundary geometry and extrudes it into a solid 3D object.

The tool natively processes multiple images simultaneously and features an automatic sprite sheet divider that detects individual elements and isolates them into standalone meshes. Users maintain control over detail levels, alpha thresholds, and extrusion depth. Additional features include a specialized mode to preserve hard edges for pixel art and a beta triangulation remesher configured to manage mesh density. Generated models can be immediately exported as native Blender files, FBX, GLB, or SVG.
