Sketch N' Trace is an add-on that converts imported images into 3D meshes or curve objects. Users can drag and drop standard image formats into the viewport and trace them directly. The conversion process includes adjustable settings for mesh resolution, extrusion, beveling, and generating outlines with variable thickness.

The tool features an Edit Trace mode that temporarily converts the image into a Grease Pencil object. This allows users to manually draw, erase, smooth, or deform the traced lines before finalizing the 3D mesh. Additional capabilities include image inversion, boundary adjustments, and automatic material assignment. The toolset is accessible via standard keyboard shortcuts or a dedicated pie menu.
