Depth Mesh Pro is an extension that generates metrically accurate 3D meshes based on 2D images. The tool integrates directly into the software, allowing users to select an image and automatically convert it into a depth-based mesh. It includes a dedicated alignment feature that matches the active camera to the source image's focal length and resolution while positioning it at the world origin. The resulting generated mesh can be procedurally adjusted using exposed parameters in a Geometry Nodes modifier. The extension provides specific installation builds optimized for different hardware configurations, including CUDA for NVIDIA GPUs, DirectML for DirectX 12 hardware on Windows, and a CPU-fallback version.
