Easy Scatter is a Geometry Nodes setup designed for distributing nature assets across 3D terrains. The system applies context-aware rules, allowing users to control instance density based on terrain slope, elevation levels, and proximity to other objects. Users can also manually define distribution using Weight Painting, and combine multiple density filters simultaneously for exact placement control.
To manage performance in large scenes, the node group includes several optimization tools. It features camera culling to hide off-screen instances, distance-based Level of Detail (LOD) switching, and camera tracking for 2D billboards. Proxy support allows for simplified meshes in the viewport, and each advanced feature can be toggled individually. The full version includes a low-poly demo scene to demonstrate the node configuration.
