MultiBake is an addon that automates the process of baking multiple materials into a unified texture atlas. The tool includes operators to combine selected mesh objects while preserving their existing materials, and generates a newly packed UV map specifically for the baking operation.
Users can choose to bake various map types, including diffuse, ambient occlusion, normal, roughness, glossy, emission, transmission, and UV data. The addon allows customization of texture resolutions from 1K to 8K, UV island margins, and output directories for the generated PNG files. During baking, the tool temporarily switches to the Cycles engine and utilizes GPU acceleration if available. An optional duplicate and assign mode creates a copy of the geometry and applies a new Principled BSDF material automatically linked to the baked textures.
