Export3DM is an add-on that transfers data from Blender directly to 3DM files for use in Rhino 3D or other CAD software. It translates Blender meshes with subdivision modifiers directly into Rhino SubD objects, while standard geometry is exported as Rhino meshes. The exporter also converts Blender collections into CAD layers and translates basic materials into Rhino PBR materials.

The tool includes several export parameters to control the output. Users can export only selected objects, batch export multiple objects as separate 3DM files, and configure up and forward axes. Additional options allow users to apply modifiers or selectively disable boolean modifiers before export, facilitating cleaner trimming operations in the destination CAD package. Files can be saved in 3DM v6, v7, or v8 formats.
