ExportAlias is an add-on that facilitates the transfer of data from Blender to Autodesk Alias. It supports the export of mesh objects as either Alias SubD objects or Alias Mesh objects, depending on the presence of subdivision modifiers. The add-on also translates Blender materials into Alias shaders and collections into Alias layers.

The export process includes options for batch exporting, axis orientation, and applying modifiers before export. Specific tools are included to handle non-manifold geometry, such as options to separate non-manifold parts and apply mirror modifiers, addressing Alias's lack of support for non-manifold subdivision geometry. A 'Disable Booleans' option is available to export tool objects separately for trimming within Alias.
