Puppet Sculptor

Puppet Sculptor is an add-on that enables users to pose meshes using an armature during the sculpting and modeling process. It introduces a new operator in Pose Mode that applies the current skeleton pose and the deformed mesh shape as the new rest pose. The tool is designed for modifying existing skinned meshes or adjusting character proportions without losing the armature setup.

The add-on includes additional utilities for rigging adjustments. Users can straighten child bones by copying the active bone's world-space orientation, which assists in creating T-poses. A toggle function allows all bones in an armature to temporarily ignore or inherit parent rotation and scale, enabling targeted scaling adjustments like resizing a chest without affecting the head. It supports modifier stacks including armature, multiresolution, mirror, and shrinkwrap, but does not currently support meshes with shape keys.
