Multires Transpose is a tool designed to simplify the posing of complex sculpts comprised of multiple multiresolution meshes. It allows users to edit an arbitrary number of meshes simultaneously by generating a single, lower-subdivision proxy mesh. This proxy mesh can then be rigged or deformed using standard Blender modifiers. Once the pose is established on the proxy, the add-on propagates the changes back to the original high-resolution sculpts.

The add-on accommodates objects with varying subdivision levels and can also include meshes that do not use the multiresolution modifier. It utilizes Blender's native multires reshape operator to transfer the deformations. To ensure accuracy during this transfer, users can manually specify the number of reshape iterations or enable an auto-iteration feature that processes until a defined threshold is met. Additionally, users can generate multiple transpose targets to store and manage different poses within the same project.
