Reproject Key

This add-on provides tools for projecting mesh surfaces onto high-poly target objects directly within Blender's Sculpt Mode. It supports one-click projection, allowing users to transfer complex details onto their working mesh without leaving the sculpting environment. Projection domains can be isolated using mask painting, and the target geometry can be defined as either a single object or an entire object collection.

The tool offers multiple projection modes, including Project, Target Normal Project, Nearest Surface Point, and Nearest Vertex. When used on a standard mesh without dynamic topology or remeshing, each projection automatically generates an independent Shape Key, enabling non-destructive editing, blending, and mask-based addition or subtraction. For meshes using a Multiresolution modifier, the tool transfers details at the active sculpt level, bypassing Shape Key generation to maintain modifier compatibility.
