Deepstone Cave is a procedural material system for Blender designed to generate full subterranean environments on a single mesh. The shader uses world-space and object-space mapping, eliminating the need for manual UV unwrapping while allowing for seamless tiling across vast networks.
The material intelligently blends layers of rock, sediment, and dampness based on the underlying surface slope and height. Built-in controls allow users to generate an underground water level and atmospheric volumetric fog directly through the material's sliders. It also utilizes adaptive subdivision to optimize displacement detail based on camera distance.
