Shading Masterclass Part 2

This training course explores the fundamental properties of metals to help users create highly realistic shaders. It covers the core characteristics that differentiate various metals, including manufacturing processes, finishing, corrosion, and wear. Users will learn how to derive accurate color and reflectance values, create brushed anisotropic metals, generate micro-scratches for worn steel, and build realistic corrosion effects. The concepts taught are software-agnostic, with example scenes provided in Blender and Modo.
