A node-based material system for generating stylized metal surfaces in Blender. It features a comprehensive suite of parametric controls accessible through the material panel and Shader Editor, allowing users to fine-tune surface imperfections. Adjustments can be made to occlusion, edge and flat wear, rust characteristics, scratching, and metal chipping.
While the base metallic properties render correctly in EEVEE, the procedural weathering and edge wear effects are explicitly optimized for Cycles. The provided Blender file includes ten pre-configured material variants, ranging from standard metals like iron, steel, silver, and gold to specialized finishes like hammered brass, oxidized brass, and obsidian.
