Purl is a procedural fabric material for Blender that replicates the structure of knitted purl stitches. It generates the textile pattern entirely through shader nodes without relying on image textures, allowing for infinite resolution and avoiding texture stretching.
The material includes adjustable parameters for scale, fabric flexibility, hairiness, stitch width, and column and row spacing. This allows users to modify the appearance of the knit for different clothing, sportswear, or textile visualizations. The node network is organized into a single node group and is compatible with both the Cycles and EEVEE render engines.
