Material Highlighter

Material Highlighter is an add-on that visually identifies which parts of a mesh correspond to the currently active material in the 3D viewport. When navigating through a list of materials on a single object, the tool highlights the assigned geometry, making it easier to manage objects with numerous or confusingly named materials. Users can customize the highlight appearance using three culling modes (None, Back, Front) based on face orientation, and three blend modes (Additive, Additive Premultiplied, Alpha Premultiplied) to control visibility over existing textures. Highlighting may not function consistently on procedurally generated meshes created entirely within Geometry Nodes.
