Magnolia is a utility addon that provides a collection of tools for modeling, UV editing, and game asset export. It includes a beveling function designed to create and bake edge bevels directly into normal maps, helping to avoid shading issues on hard-surface models. The built-in Mesh Inspector helps users identify structural problems by detecting non-manifold geometry, non-planar faces, flipped normals, mesh intersections, triangles, and n-gons.
The addon streamlines exporting by allowing users to send selected objects to the world origin as FBX or OBJ files for Unity and Unreal Engine, complete with automatic PBR map inclusion for FBX exports. Additional workflow utilities include a non-destructive vertex snapper for blockouts, edge alignment to world axes, an operator to stack selected UV faces at the 2D cursor, and tools to manage non-uniform object scaling and data naming.
