INS Grass is a scattering add-on for distributing plant life and foliage. It features algorithmic colorizing options that can dynamically tie color variations to density and scale patterns, such as making taller grass green while shorter grass appears dry.
The tool includes an advanced camera culling system that automatically updates alongside changes to the active camera, focal length, shifting, and sensor size combinations. Its Level of Detail (LOD) system evaluates instance screen size or distance, allowing users to employ hybrid instancing workflows that balance detailed single plants near the camera with optimized clumps in the background.
