This tutorial series covers the complete photogrammetry workflow for creating a 3D asset from photographs, utilizing a tree trunk as a practical example. The curriculum spans multiple software applications, starting with color correction in Photoshop Camera RAW and scan generation in Agisoft Photoscan. The processing phase covers photo masking, alignment, point cloud generation, and chunk merging.
The course continues with mesh cleanup, decimation, and displacement map baking in ZBrush, followed by PBR texture generation using Substance Designer and Substance Painter. Finally, the series concludes with lighting, shading, and rendering the optimized model in Blender using the Cycles engine. The project files include the finished 3D model in OBJ and BLEND formats, along with 8K PBR textures.
