Depth Map Batch is an add-on that processes images and video files to generate depth maps locally on your machine. It utilizes machine learning models including Depth Anything V2, MiDaS 3.1, Depth Pro, and MiDaS 3.0 without requiring external APIs or a custom Python environment setup.

The tool features batch processing capabilities and can generate 16-bit depth maps from 8-bit images to minimize banding artifacts during mesh displacement. Additional options include normal map generation, height map extraction, GPU acceleration, and multiple resolution settings up to 1600px. It supports PNG and JPEG input formats, extracts frames from video, and includes a video compiler feature.
