Ezdepth is an add-on that utilizes AI to convert 2D images into 3D surfaces by generating depth maps. Powered by Meta's Depth Anything Small ONNX model, it processes portraits, objects, or environments to create grayscale depth images. The tool offers one-click integration, applying the generated maps either as a geometry-based Displacement Modifier or as a full Shader Displacement setup for Cycles.

The add-on includes a dedicated panel with controls for subdivision types, displacement coordinate switching, and bump map integration from the original image. It automatically generates the required shader nodes, including texture coordinates and mapping, and provides an option to bake shader displacement into true geometry.
