Create and Animate a Vehicle

This 14-hour video course guides you through the process of creating and animating a World War II-era Canadian ambulance. The workflow spans multiple software packages, starting with reference image preparation in Krita before moving into Blender for blockouts and detailed hard-surface modeling. The instruction covers Blender's modeling tools, modifiers, and project organization techniques necessary for constructing a comprehensive vehicle asset.

Following the modeling phase, the course demonstrates how to prepare the asset for texturing in Adobe Substance Painter. This includes material set organization, map baking, and applying procedural dirt and wear. Finally, the textures are brought back into Blender where the vehicle is rigged using the free Rigacar add-on, animated over uneven terrain, and rendered out as an image sequence.
