This course provides comprehensive instruction on creating a stylized, anime-inspired flying island scene in Blender. Across 24 hours and 128 lessons, the curriculum covers the complete process of building the environment, focusing on individual asset creation through modeling and sculpting workflows. Students will learn how to utilize curves and effectively apply simple deform, skin, displace, and decimation modifiers.
The training also delves into texturing and animation techniques suited for stylized art. It includes creating procedural materials for terrain, rocks, and foliage, as well as developing a custom water shader. Additional topics cover particle systems for generating grass and trees, path animation for wildlife like fish and butterflies, procedural animation for environment elements, and environment lighting setups using HDRIs.
