GPSketch

GPSketch is a toolset for Grease Pencil that converts 2D strokes into 3D meshes. By bridging Grease Pencil with Geometry Nodes, the tool enables drawn strokes to cast shadows, receive standard materials, and serve as manipulable geometry in 3D space. It includes automated processes to recreate Grease Pencil brushes and material properties as object materials, preserving vertex color inputs.

The system supports multiple stroke generation styles, including continuous extruded lines and instanced shapes along points, with profile options like square, round, plane, or custom objects. Additional generation tools include HullSketch for creating convex hulls, Loft for connecting strokes, and Screw for revolving shapes. Integrating with the viewport, it provides custom gizmos for stroke placement, canvas grid toggling, and layer auto-locking. Specialized layers allow for immediate shape filling or boolean subtraction for compositional blocking.
