By keeping the Blender File Browser open, it allows users to navigate directories, view image previews, and instantly apply new textures to materials, brushes, or world environments. The tool also supports appending or linking objects and other scene elements directly from the interface. Users can assign images to selected faces or specific shader nodes using dedicated hotkeys.
