Procedural Building Generator 2 is a Geometry Nodes system that transforms standard 3D meshes into customizable buildings. Users apply architectural styles by dragging and dropping presets from the Asset Browser onto their objects. The generated structures update in real-time as the underlying mesh is modified using standard modeling tools like extruding or loop cuts. Unlike generators limited to 2D floor plans, this tool adapts the architecture to the full volume of any complex 3D shape.
The system is built on a modular framework of nine node groups, enabling workflows like assigning different architectural styles to specific floors. It also includes experimental support for deforming meshes, allowing generated buildings to interact with cloth simulations and armatures. The base tool includes several preset styles, such as Kowloon Walled City, Half-timbered, Wooden, Pueblo, and Swedish cottage.
