Game Rig Tools

Game Rig Tools automates the process of preparing complex Blender armatures for export to game engines. Instead of manually cleaning up control bones, the tool generates an optimized, game-ready deform rig from an existing control armature, such as those created with Rigify. This generated deform rig isolates the bone hierarchy needed for game engines while resolving common scaling and bone count issues.

The add-on includes a dedicated Action Bakery that automates the transfer of animations, baking multiple actions from the control rig directly onto the deform rig. It also provides specialized Unreal Engine tools for rigging custom human characters to the UE4 Mannequin or UE5 Manny and Quinn skeletons. Additional utility operators allow users to quickly mute or unmute constraints between the control and deform rigs during the animation and export process.
