Bend Face

This add-on provides custom operators for directly rotating or moving selected mesh faces based on their nearest edges or surface normals. The tool utilizes direct viewport mouse interactions, where dragging the left mouse button rotates a face around the closest edge, and dragging the right mouse button translates it.

Additional modes accommodate more complex modeling operations. The Face Normal mode switches the transformation axis from the adjacent edge to the face's default normal direction. The Rotate Extrude function generates connecting edge loops between the original and modified face positions to quickly produce curved, sweeping extrusions. It also includes predefined hotkeys for standard angles and an experimental sliding rotation feature to move vertices along connecting geometry during the rotation.
