Face Regulator is an edit mode tool that reshapes selected quad faces into perfect rectangles with 90-degree angles. It can be used on individual faces, multiple selections, or edges across various mesh types, including sculpted topology and curved surfaces like cylinders.
The tool provides options to either preserve the existing curvature of the surface or completely flatten the selected faces to a single plane. Users can align face normals or edges to local X, Y, or Z axes, and can optionally force the resulting faces into perfect squares. A slider for solver steps allows control over the accuracy of the deformation.
