This video tutorial is the first part of a series focused on creating a medieval environment in Blender. It covers the modeling of a base terrain and river using procedural texture displacement and weight painting. The lessons demonstrate how to assign and mix procedural materials using vertex paint, as well as how to create a water material. Additional chapters cover modeling a pine tree using a built-in addon and distributing the trees across the terrain using both particle emitters and a Geometry Nodes setup.
