2D Mix

2D Mix is a node-based material system designed to generate stylized 2D looks natively within Blender's Cycles engine. It leverages procedural textures such as Noise, Voronoi, Magic, and Wave to create various artistic styles, ranging from clean vector outlines to rough, brush-like strokes.

The shader features an edge detection system divided into inner and outer borders, alongside three normal-controlled reflections. A central global settings node allows users to rapidly iterate through various built-in procedural textures using a single slider. Colors are split across reflections, the primary material hue, and edges, with support for standard texture inputs in the color slots.

Users can customize the internal procedural textures by editing the underlying node groups. The material system supports dynamic texture generation, including animated seed values for creating stylized effects like fire or water.
