WarpySTEP is a Geometry Nodes setup that applies noise-driven displacement to meshes and steps the animation frames to create stylized effects. Users can control the deformation by painting vertex groups to mask specific sections of the mesh, or toggle the primary warp effect entirely. The setup also allows for simple sine wave deformations that can be toggled along separate axes independently from the main warping effect.
The system includes controls to switch between location or rotation-based vector warping and options to change the noise origin point using an Empty object. Random seed values are available for each warp effect to vary the results, and the texture type driving the deformation can be toggled. The download includes an example file featuring a procedural material with color picking and basic lighting setups.
