Transparency By Groups

Transparency By Groups allows you to manage object opacity across multiple target meshes simultaneously. Intended for technical and mechanical animation, it uses a central controller object to drive transparency values across user-defined groups via custom properties. You can create up to 32 custom groups and assign objects to them using an automated Geometry Nodes setup. Objects can belong to multiple groups with partial transparency values, and overlapping group opacities are multiplied together. The addon also automates the material setup by either injecting an opacity attribute node for custom routing or directly adding a Transparent BSDF and Mix Shader setup to your existing materials.
