Surface Inflate

Surface Inflate provides two methods for bulging or inflating flat, grid-based mesh surfaces directly within Edit Mode. Accessed from the right-click context menu, the add-on shifts or raises vertices to create rounded profiles.

In Inflation Mode, users select two boundary faces to define an axis. The tool then shifts the vertices between these faces to create an evenly spaced, perfectly circular surface, using a limit angle to determine which faces are affected. Alternatively, Bezier Curve Mode allows users to select any number of faces and expand them outward along their normals. This mode functions similarly to proportional editing, allowing you to define the area of effect and adjust the bell-shaped curve of the inflation using four Bezier control parameters.
