This extension enables the direct importation of STEP (.step, .stp) files into Blender specifically for macOS users. The tool processes the underlying CAD surfaces and generates a triangulated mesh within the 3D viewport while preserving the original part hierarchy of the imported assembly. Users can access the tool's settings through a dedicated N-panel menu, which includes options to adjust the mesh detail and a feature to rebuild selected geometry. It runs on both Intel and Apple Silicon processors.
