This addon imports SideFX Houdini project files directly into Blender. It supports standard commercial (.hip), indie (.hiplc), and apprentice (.hipnc) file formats. The tool transfers geometry while automatically adjusting for scale and transformation differences between the two applications. It integrates natively into the Blender import menu and provides comprehensive operation logging.

To function, the addon requires a local Houdini installation and is currently limited to the Windows operating system.
