Safe Ngon is a modeling tool that repositions the edge flows of ngon-based meshes. Operating in Edit mode via the right-click context menu, the addon moves sharp edges to the middle of long edges. This adjustment minimizes strange shading artifacts and provides better topology for subsequent bevel operations.

The tool includes several parameters to control the underlying mesh structure. Users can adjust merge distances, define parallel angles for creating new support edges, and toggle a multiple-split option to generate additional support geometry. It also features a utility to automatically convert selected triangles or quads into ngons, along with a random seed value to modify edge dissolving patterns.
