Render Back

Render Back provides a dedicated panel in the Output properties to configure and launch command line renders directly from Blender. By generating a Windows batch file, it allows users to execute renders externally, meaning the main Blender interface can be closed during the process to free up computing resources.

The tool includes settings to define the Blender executable path, select the target project file, and choose between single image or animation rendering. It also features automation options upon render completion, such as automatically opening the output directory or executing system power actions including sleep, hibernate, or shutdown. This add-on currently only operates on Windows systems.
