Render From Command Line adds a panel to Blender's rendering properties for launching command line renders in a separate instance. It supports rendering specific frame ranges, adding timestamps to prevent file overwriting, and appending base names to output files. Users can save and reload lists of frame ranges, sync ranges to the scene, or set them to the current playhead position.
The tool overrides the default render output directory and works with both image sequences and video formats. Compositor file output nodes are supported and exported without renaming. Files must be saved before launching a render, and multiple frame ranges can be rendered simultaneously depending on hardware capabilities.
