This shader provides a procedural node setup for generating kintsugi-style materials, replicating the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with metallic lacquer. The custom node group includes 31 exposed attributes for controlling the appearance of both the base ceramic material and the metallic cracks.
Users can adjust properties like the base color, subsurface scattering, ambient occlusion, and bump detailing for the ceramic surface. The procedural crack system features specialized parameters to randomize patterns, control line thickness, and determine the bump strength and scaling of the metallic fills. The material setup integrates with the Asset Browser and includes four preset variations to use as starting points.
