Physical Celestial Objects is a Blender tool for generating real-scale, physically accurate planets. It creates celestial bodies using raytraced analytical spheres, allowing for immense scales without precision loss, shadow distancing issues, or z-fighting. Users can customize planets using standard image textures for albedo, roughness, height, and emission, alongside generating procedural rings and multi-layered ray-marched atmospheres. The addon integrates directly with Blender's World node, naturally illuminating scenes with environment light based on a Hapke BRDF lighting model designed specifically for celestial bodies. Planets can be positioned using global coordinates, relative viewer distance, or elliptical orbits around other scene objects. The tool supports both Cycles and EEVEE rendering engines.
