Particles FXs is a set of Geometry Nodes tools for creating particle simulations in Blender. The system is built on a layered workflow that separates the setup into Emitter, Simulator, and Renderer modifiers. Emitters can be based on primitive shapes, custom meshes, curves, or 2D images.
The tool includes 10 different simulation behaviors, such as bursts, continuous emission, surface-following motion, and shape condensation. Users can control particle movement using curl noise, spiral forces, gravity, and drag parameters. The system also supports particle collisions against objects or other particles, with settings for bouncing, sliding friction, and deletion on impact. Particles can be rendered as point clouds, custom meshes, ribbons, or volumetrics, and attributes generated by the simulation can be passed to the Shader Editor to drive custom materials.
