Mangaka! is a compositor-based add-on that processes 3D scenes into stylized, hand-drawn manga backgrounds. It analyzes lighting and geometry to generate procedural screen tones and outlines, mimicking traditional comic art techniques. Users can control the final look directly from the N-panel in the Compositor, adjusting parameters like distance culling, line thickness, tone values, and normal sensitivity.

The system includes a dedicated Nature layer for handling organic elements, such as trees, differently from rigid architecture. Built upon the BNPR Edge Node framework for edge detection, it automatically generates screen tones based on the scene's lighting map.
